I just looked it up, and that is just the kind of charity I was looking for! Thank you for that excellent suggestion, Kris. I appreciate you.When I was a kid, I didn't know that there were safe places, I was alone, small, scared. Children and Animals, that is where my heart strings lead. Thank you again.

Glad you would consider them. I use to volunteer at the local Crisis Nursery in St. Louis when I was in high school. They are non profit and could always use the extra donations. :)
Unfortunately, all of the places that try to accomplish good and decent works are under-funded. But at least all the sports teams have beautiful stadiums. Crisis Nursery is just right.
