Yeah, I knew the story – she had a boyfriend for a while and Kyle had a serious girlfriend, but why would she stick with him through all of that if he didn’t have something great to offer? No, I didn’t want to believe he had hit her like he said, but even as he started to speak again, I knew in my heart it was true.
