Writing times.

Hi everyone, this is my first blog ever, yes I am used to sitting at a computer and writing, but this is different I feel that I can put a face to those who read this blog.

When is the best time to write for you?
I have read some always write at a set time. I write when the story has formed in my head, it could be a few hours a week or even two weeks. Sometimes I find my self pantsing when I did not mean to.

Early Sunday morning is normally good for me the house is quite and afternoons when there is not much noise around, that said I have been in a busy shopping centre with my laptop writing away as people pass by.
I was editing and had to use that time as I did not have any other. I belong to a writing club of friends and we meet twice a month. We have a either one word or a subject or a photo, even with one word the whole group always writes something different. I find any time is good for writing as long as the brain is ready and they environment is good, quite for me normally. What times are best for you?
I would really like to know what time you feel is best for you?

Karen Malena Working a full time job and having elderly parents presents a challenge to me. Therefore, I have no set time to write. I grab precious pockets of time to write, an hour here, a half hour there....and if I'm really lucky, then perhaps an afternoon on a snowy day when work is cancelled, a blissful two or three or even four hours of writing. Mostly I write in my head on long drives, then when I'm near my laptop, set those ideas in motion. Thanks for starting a very good topic!
