Pets are definitely a fun part of mysteries! They add a levity and interest to stories. Who doesn't like a great pet story?

I love pets in books. The first mystery series that hooked me on cozies was the Mrs. Murphy mysteries, who have all sorts of animals and pets sharing the limelight. I love Bruce Willis (the dog), but I'm a cat person. My cats all have literary names: Pewter (from Mrs. Murphy mysteries), Atticus, Willoughby, and Sherlock. And Sherlock is a girl kitty! But I love having pets in my cozies - they make it cozier!

Thanks for chatting. Hugs, Duffy
