Okay, so I have finished reading Being Jamie Baker by Kelly Oram. First thoughts? This was actually a lot of fun. Jamie Baker is a fun and interesting character. She's very feisty, and her chemistry with Ryan is really good. This is basically a story about her relationship with Ryan, and how he brings her out of her shell, as she is a recluse for very good reasons. She is a mystery to Ryan, and he can't help but want to unravel the mystery that is Jamie Baker. A great book, and extremely well written. I highly recommend this book.

Wearing the Cape by fellow Goodreads author Marion G. Harmon. I finally finished it. It took me a while, but then I was writing a novel, and I have a full-time job, plus The Walking Dead season 5, woo hoo, yadda, yadda....It started out great, and had some really cool characters. I love the character names, The Teatime Anarchist, genius! I thought he was an interesting character and would loved to have seen more of him, especially as he is introduced as the main villain. Overall, a solid book with a great ending, and I loved the way each chapter opened with some cool information which was relevant to that chapter.
Two thumbs up.
