Illegal downloads
If you're going to request and/or share links to my books on Mobilism forums, don't fucking use the same name there as you do here because I'll recognise it and resent you forever. Jfc.
It's £2.99. I'm not asking you to blow your entire life savings. I'll give the files away for free if you're that poverty-stricken. Just don't share the damn things illegally and make me chase you all over the filthiest pits of Google.

It'd be funny if it weren't so annoying! I realise huge scale book theft from struggling indie authors is one of those shitty things that'll never be completely tamed, but when it's SO blatant it makes steam roar out from my ears.
You sent SS to me for free months ago and I'd love to pay you for them. Is there a link where I can send you some $$?
Where can I find Captured Shadows, other than Lulu ? I can't find it anywhere else! 
Rachel - you really don't have to! I might put a paypal button on my blog just because a couple of people have asked me to, but no obligation! Reviews are more valuable than money for brand new books ;)Misty - let me chase that and get back to you! Lulu is supposed to distribute it to various other sites but I think it takes a while for them to check I'm not just a keysmashing monkey or whatever it is they do. ePub and PDF are both on Lulu, and the ePub converts perfectly to mobi if you run it through a site like http://www.epub2mobi.com
(Greedy author moment: I'd really prefer everyone to buy it from Lulu if at all possible, because authors get the most profits that way. Other sites - Amazon especially, but all of them - take a HUGE cut, and I know people who have never seen any payment at all from Kindle sales, which is all a bit depressing!)

I buy less and less on Amazon and I definitely prefer to give my money to the author via a small publisher.
I swear I'm not a complete idiot, Mr. Rider, but I am throwing my hands up in frustration! I am new to Goodreads and feeling my way around slowly. Thank goodness for the people who review for all of you wonderful authors otherwise I would be lost! I have been looking and clicking for awhile searching for Stockholm Syndrome 1. No luck.
