I'll_Give_You_The_Sun is on my list now to read. I'm not typical YA as audience. At the same time I like reading of young characters work through life events. My interest in this genre of story came after being a Beta reader of Flight by Heloise Jones. She seems occupied by the Sun and sky too.

This book is amazing. As a fellow writer, Nelson's imagery and writing techniques amazed me as well as the story. I have now read this book twice, and I can not get enough of it! It just pulls you in and doesn't let you go.

Simply the best!

A friend of my recommended I'll Give You the Sun and let me just say that this is one of the best books I've ever read. I went through so many emotions whilst reading, and I could talk about this book for the rest of my life. I love all of the characters, especially Noah and Jude. Just thinking about it makes me cry because of how beautiful it was. Genuinely, such an amazing story and I'll never stop thinking about it. I'd be willing to give the sun, stars, trees, moon, flowers, everything, to read this book for the first time again.
