In just eight days, I'll be releasing my debut novel, Hawk's Property which is Book One in my new Insurgents MC Romance Series.

It has been a wild ride between writing, figuring out ALL the technical stuff (not computer savvy so much), and making sure everything is working together. And having to do my eight to five days at work.

When you're writing it can be all-consuming, and you have to remind yourself that you have to do your job at work, call friends who think you've dropped off the planet, and stop fantasizing about all the hot men in leather and tats.

So far the response to the book has been amazing, and I thank all the readers who have been willing to take the risk to read a new author.

All that aside, the wonderful autumn colors lend a beautiful mosaic of rusts, golds, reds, and oranges. October is one of my favorite months. I love the crisp feel in the air, and the scent of burning firewood. The grinning pumpkins look eerie with their glowing eyes when night covers the city. Totally LOVE this time of year.

The shorter days and chillier nights are perfect for curling up and reading. Love it!
