Yes, I loved both Acheron & Styxx books but I can't read part 1 of ether books. I have read Part 2 more than once since I have both the hardback and Kindle version of both of them. But my all time favorite is "Night Play"! ;-)
They are quite violent in the begining of both books, still brilliant writing though, and I can understand why you can't read that, it was rather upsetting, but nice that they had good endings.
I have read part 1 in each book but anytime I go to reread the books I only reread the part 2s!
