I loved it too. Learned more about Christian and his life before Ana.
I understand where you're coming from. I too like the male POV of any book. Just because the male has a tough exterior doesn't mean it matches what's inside. I love to see how the male characters mind works and how emotionally involved they get.
I enjoyed this book and yes, it is kind of the same as through Ana's eyes, but there is some more info about Christians life that I'm sure left us hanging once we finished the trilogy.
