That's what I mean, from the point of Jason leaving his world 7 billion people will have spawned billions of other worlds through observation at every moment. There would be an unimaginable amount of worlds that were identical from where he left off. The only explanation I can think of is that they all had many Jasons returning to them, but if there is a world for every outcome I'd imagine that there would be just as many where he didn't return at all.
In this book they even make it known that the world he came back to with daniella could possibly not be his own. The odds are that it was not. It was though a few decisions off from possibly not being his but if you teleported to a world where you ate toast for breakfast instead of cereal, is that still not your wife in the kitchen. You would feel it is.
