Well if you want more, I'd recommend you read the short story Sally Rooney wrote before Normal People called "At the clinic". It's set a couple years later in New York and Connell is taking Marianne to a dentist's appointment.
That's exactly how I feel. I feel like it wasn't satisfying in a way that made me satifisied and wanting more, which is the point I think.
couldnt agree more! i personally enjoyed reading the book, but hated the ending! what was the point if we had no resolution in my opinion. This was different than what I usually read, and it solidified my preference for a book ending that ties everything together and gives some sort of satisfying ending.
