Marta Acosta Yes, exactly! His childhood act of defacing the house and stealing a part of it for himself was the beginning of his fierce and consuming envy. Little by little, he destroys the family who possess The Hundreds. I love the creepy ending for the creepy narrator and the object of his desire.
