with all the great endings to most (if not all) his books,this one felt thrown in...the book was geat,the ending not!
So, a whole town wearing ankle monitors that prevent escape, many with Republican smiles, a love for CNN (especially Wolf Blitzer of all people). I preferred Duma Key from 2008. Anyway, this be a bloated read however fun. Big Jim is so over-the-top to be cartoon hateful. The police force he assembled so fast? The town had about 2000 we are told. Before the event seemed stocked to the gills with supplies...wtf. And King gets way sappy with toddler and their so-called cuteness. 3.5 stars for Dome. Duma Key is a fiver.
