Shirl Shelter Mountain,

I really liked this book and think it is my favorite in the series so far. I love reading about the same town and people yet each book centers on one or two couples. Great reads to pick up whenever you just want to curl up with a good story. I will read books inbetween these, but always have them to read. Tehy are good by themselves, but better read in order. So glad I have alot more books to go in this series. I don't want to get to the end. I love small towns.

Shirl I have read the whole series, and loved it!a couple books wern't as good as some others, but they all are worth reading. They made you feel like you right there in town with everyone. Great writing great reads.

MaryJane Rings She is an excellent author. I just finished The House on Olive Street. Interesting and kept me wondering how she would evolve the characters and the plot I know that I will think back about the scenarios and the characters. i like the depth that she puts in her novels.

Faith i just stater her new series thunder point,i thunk it going to be another virgin river,i really the first book waiting for # 2

message 8: by Robin (new)

Robin I agree. Thunder Point feels like Virgin River, but with differences that make things interesting. I can't wait for #2 to be released! I can't help wondering though, if she will ever re-visit Virgin River. Maybe something around Christmas?

Steph I've read the entire series and even though they were all somewhat similar as girl or guy looking for love, the characters almost seemed real. Jacks bar and Melanie the NP, you find yourself secretely wanting more. I initially read a couple out of order, then found the series numbers and started at the beginning. They were all really good books. Hope you lie them as much as I did.

I admit that there is a romantic factor but Ms. Carr also tackles issues that impact women's lives, such as abuse, pregnancy complications, death, grief, betrayal, trust issues, job loss, and strain on friendships as well as forgiveness. she is a deeper and more researched author than the typical romantic beach novel. I like the way she writes and the advocate she is for women's health and the many serious decisions that women must make in their lives.

Faith i agree love is there, but so is the trial and tribute,
of what they go through to find that true love.i feel its right,if you feel different just tell me,would like to hear.

Michelle I have read all the Books in Robyn Carr's Virgin River series. I just couldn't put them down. Such a wonderful read. I love how the small town all come together at Jack's and love Preacher's food. I would move there if this place really existed. But it doesn't. I love this series.

MaryJane Rings I also have read all of the books in the Virgin River Series. They are so down to earth and address woman's issues in a simple straight forward manner. Also the romantic side is believable and not always predictable or glossed over. This is the nature of real life.

Tania Paradise Valley is a reissue, they have been reprinting the series very slowly. She has a new book coming out in march for the Thunder Point books called The Chance. I have really enjoyed her books though they have been hard to come by here in England. I love Jack and Preacher and the way the town looks out for each other
