Well, mine have had some very mixed opinions about that!
My favourite character is Thanatos, and I'm mostly reading the rest due to the fact that I want to know how things turn out for her.
Seems harsh. I prefer nicer main characters. Or evil ones.

I don't like the core group. Zoey will take a dig at them every chance she can. I noticed how she goes after Stevie Rae.
