I kind of hate love triangles, too. Most of the time I'm all for one guy, very in to the "Team" thing (Edward, Eric, Damon etc.) and would really not like the other guy and sometimes the whole backwards and forwards fickleness of the girl would piss me off. But I think this is a good triangle, because you like both of them and although sometimes it can be hard to choose, you know which one you prefer. Yet if she ended up with the guy you didn't back, it wouldn't be the end of the world (this is similar to the Unearthly triangle). Orion is a likable guy, who doesn't hit on Helen - even when she's vulnerable - he's there for her as a friend (the whole river thing doesn't count, neither does the near-death kiss, he was dying!), because she's pining for Lucus still. And Helen admits Orion is attractive, but doesn't compare notes or drool over him, then snuggles up to Lucus. It's very clear she's still in love with Lucus and there's a strong friendship and mild attraction between her and Orion. I think she'll ultimately end up with Lucus, which is what I'm hoping for. Get this cousin nonsense out the way!
