I enjoyed the journey as well. I was confused as to why Andrea had to suffer through withdrawals in detail to be shot down so quickly and for nobody to know she was clean.

For some silly reason some of my favorite parts were when Chef and Andy were together, higher than kites.

I enjoyed the book and I just felt like the storytelling was so rich and detailed that the abrupt ending was a letdown. I would have still read the book, knowing I would be disappointed at the ending.

I think the death of Big Jim was sly and good :)

I agree, Jakub. I really enjoyed the twist with Junior being there. :D

Cheryl, I totally agree about the parts with Chef and Andy being quite entertaining/interesting. Andy didn't hesitate at all to being submersed in the drug! I thought Andrea's character was inspirational b/c she knew what she had to do even if it was tough. She didn't get very far fighting Big Jim, but she did die free of her addiction.
