I didn't really find the writing to be all that great. It really annoyed me by the run-on sentence when Patrick would describe the sex and torture scenes. It was like "And I took her here and she did this and I did that and we did that and I couldn't stand it anymore so I did that and this..." Ugh I was like enough with the run-on sentences!
