And how can you be sure that afterlife is only "absurd wishful thinking"? I'd like to believe that there is no afterlife.
Well it's not wishful thinking for you. I'd not like to live for eternity, either. What I mean is the IDEA of an afterlife was invented by those that were afraid of death being "the end."
Being with God Is being as God. It is all a state of mind as is Hell. We can choose to create hell here on earth with our thoughts, our actions. Likewise, we can create eternal happiness and joy. It is never to late.
Everything is changed by our perception, our thoughts.. God doesnt create the hell.. the sad part is, we create it ourselves. (or NOT) IF you are on this forum (for other reasons besides advertising) You already Have God.
Well I'm an atheist. But I used to be a Christian, and my particular flavor believes that once you accept Christ, you're name is permanently recorded in the Book of Life, so in that sense, yup, I still "Have God." :)
