i was annoyed at the author more then i was annoyed with fade. Because in the first book she shows Fade as this strong person who doesnt break down but in the second book he goes soft. i think the author probably did this to make us like stalker a bit more but that ended up pissing me off.
Yes, I also thought about the character inconsistencies in the 2nd. Liked the strong Fade.
It's like he had a personality transplant. i hate it when that happens

I'm with you. Fade's flip out at the end was too much. He has to get it together or Stalker (and his reliability) is starting to really look good.
