people are simple and boring - God is not and neither is it simply to recognize and act on the simple fact that our purpose is to glorify God (reflect his glory to the world - and that includes all of his creation) and enjoy him forever. It is not simply for a human being to enjoy God. We don't understand him - he is way too complicated and it takes a lot of effort to get to know him well enough to enjoy him.
I thought it was a very helpful book. Yes there is no action or excitement, but it was not menat to be that way. I think it is a very good book for new Christians because it is fairly simple .
