People don't mention Christian killing the woman because it isn't supposed to be a positive whereas people do like Ryodan even though he's a really, really old guy lusting after a 14 year old child.
And yeah Christian is going nutso. Maybe he'll be rescued.

I think he's sleeping with someone his age but is acknowledging Dani's potential (as in her intelligent, power...) I don't see any lust..
As for Christian, I think he's too far gone, got no hope of turning back. I just hope he'll have a HEA..
Ryodan's been inappropriate toward her besides beating the crap out of her. You don't do those things to a child. It wasn't blatant but it had a creepy vibe. He was jealous of Christian and Dancer. Unless he just didn't like them because he's her father or feels fatherly toward her, but he doesn't act like a fatherly figure otherwise. I guess he could be a very abusive one. All in all, the whole situation seems wrong. I can't make sense of it unless he's keeping her close and grooming her to be his later which means he's attracted to a 14 yr old which would mean he's a stalker and pedophile. And there is no reason for an ancient guy to be attracted to a 14 yr old. Would anyone think it was cool if their grandparents were? She acts like a child which is either a cute kid or annoying, but in her case she's annoying. I'm only 31 and would only ever think of a 14 yr old as a kid. Even when I was 16 or 17 that age looked and acted young. Realistically, a 14 yr old would only seem like a baby to someone that ancient. Her attitude would be annoying and she has so much less life experience and maturity. She actually seems young for her age. Killing young only gives her more problems. She has a lot to deal with emotionally but she tries to ignore it. She's icked out by real sex and these older guys and she's naive. She doesn't even seem ready for a relationship with someone her age, Dancer. She ignores that possibility. So why would Ryodan be interested in her? Because he's physically attracted to children?
And as for intelligence, she really doesn't seem very intelligent. Dancer does but he's not the one Ryodan asked for help. Ryodan and the nine also have more power. Seems pointless to involve a kid. Really these ancient guys have so much more knowledge and experience that I can't suspend reality enough to believe they'd be interested in a 14 yr old for any reason or would need her help to solve this. That was a big plot hole to me.
@ Estelle what does HEA stand for please? I think Christian is too far gone also. And agree with you also regarding Ryodan looking at Dani. I think he see's her potential. And if we are going to talk about how old Mac n Co really are then you have to look at who each of them is sleeping with.. None of the girls would actually be age appropriate for that crew of guys.. I think KMM did a fantastic job and i can't wait for burned!
