I like the "Carrie" thing. I also think of the same. :)
i dont think horizons was even real. it was just part of the trap to get mara. so they wont be worried about people not sending their children there. they'll probably just say the building collapsed in an accident (idk if this links to what stella was saying about insurance?) and use it as an excuse to close it down, seeing as they wont need it anymore now that they have all the people that they need for their research
