No, I don't think so. See I think the first Bernhardt was Gwen's brother because they were both children from Lucy and Paul. The thing is that Lucy and Paul kinda got the first Bernhardt in the past so ... oh wait I'm starting to doubt what I'm trying to say. It kind of depends on when L&P got their son. If it was about 70 year before Gwen was born, if it was earlier, he is probably indeed more like a son or a grandson of Gwen's brother. Does that make sense?
He could still be Gwen's brother. Lucy was pregnant in 1919 and he could still be alive in Gwen's time in 2011. My grandpa was born in 1918 and is still alive. He's supposed to have been with the family for ages, right? So it's not that far-fetched. Idk I read the English version of the book, so maybe something got lost in translation, but that was my understanding of it.
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Although it feels like he is a bit to old to be her brother (I mean, he doesn't really sound 94 to me, more 70-ish) but he'd be to young to be the son of her brother (because than he'd be more 60-ish if my math is correct). So I think that might be a bit of a continuity error but he's more likely to be her brother than her nephew.
