I was born in 86 and I watched the original live action Batman as well as Gilligan's Island. But Dani is only supposed to be 14... yeah maybe a little strange. But not unbelievable. For a girl in a cage she probably had to watch whatever was on TV.
let's not forget about channels like tvland that exist for the old shows and then there is always regular syndication and outlets like netflix and maybe even old vhs who knows what she had access to over the years with her abilities
I guess the Tv shows can be explained by her seeing the re-runs. I still think there is something off. She has a very good vocabulary for a 14 year old (we see glimpses wich she tries to hide fast). God, I really need the next book.
