She also said she changed the age of Dani at the end Burned. Previously she would be 17, and changed to 19. But this is the only compromise she would make to suite her fans. Too many were screaming rape because Dani would be under 18. So I think Dani will be 19 when the shot storm hits. I think her and Mac get stuck in a IFP and age a few years.
What is with this whole IFP prediction? Is it something KMM suggested or just a fan-based prediction? Michielle, do you mean that Dani and Mac would live for a couple years in an IFP? So like she would jump in say at 15, then live there a couple years, then come out at 17? I am not sure what they would do in there for so long! Not sure that whole idea makes much sense to me. Most of the times Mac went to Faerie she only spent brief moments while the outside world continued....
Heck, Little Feather, they could go in there for 5 earth days and it could be years. Look at what happened to Christian in the mirror. It was a matter of weeks and he was in there on that side it had been 3 years. Idk what to think on the IFP thing. I haven't seen much on that.
I'm not sure if KMM has brought up the IFP connection. I think she has, but O may be mistaken. Otherwise, it is just a fan based prediction. That is the only way I see of aging Dani into an adult in such a short time in Earth time. And not every IFP or Silver has the same time ratio. It will be interesting to find out.
Agreed Michelle, that's why I said it, I couldn't figure a way to age Dani that much between books. I didn't originally bring up the IFP thing, but, if not IFP or a silver, or a window into fairey somewhere, how could she age that much in the little time between books? It was only thing I could figure :)
The theory I have is that it will give Mac and Dani time to mend their relationship. Or for Mac to prove to Dani that Mac has forgiven her. If Dani has no where to run from Mac, then she will have to deal with it.
