Hi, I have a cover that needs to be changed. Can I get some help? Thank you.

From the author FAQ:

"Q: My book has a new cover, but the ISBN/ASIN has not changed. How do I change the cover on Goodreads?

A: Goodreads policy is not to change covers on books that have already been published. Instead, an alternate-cover edition may be added. Start a new thread in this folder if you need help.

Please note: Authors who also have librarian status who delete old covers or otherwise vandalize older editions of books may have their librarian privileges revoked."

All right, can you, please, create a new edition of the book with the new cover? And where should I send the cover?

You can upload it to a image hosting site, like Imgur or Dropbox, or just opload it to your profile here on Goodreads.
I would also greatly appreciate if you also let me know the page count, publication date of that edition and ISBN/ASIN

Would you still need the ISBN/ASIN and the rest even if I'd want the books to be merged as soon as the new edition is published?

I'm afraid merging might not mean what you think it does, in this case.

When we merge books, the different editions are still there, but they're connected, just like how this book already has a kindle and a paperback edition registered.
They're registered as the same book, but not the same edition.

All editions will remain on Goodreads. If you want the new cover on your author page you can select an edition with new cover as the primary/default edition
