message 2: by Joyce (new)

Joyce T. What kind of YA are you looking for? The Selection is a clean (and really, really enthralling) YA romance.

message 3: by Samantha (new)

Samantha Robinson Hi Chloe!

I know the struggle. I’ve started writing clean YA romance since we could use a few more clean reads in the world. I have a book out called The Boys of Benjamin Boulevard. It’s available on Amazon for 99 cents and it’s being released on wattpad chapter by chapter for free. The sequel will be coming soon!

Mountain Girl Yaaaaaaaaasssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

⋅˚₊‧ ୨ jocelyn ୧ ‧₊˚ hi!! i was looking into a thousand boy kisses by tillie cole, and i wanted to know if anyone had read it and if they thought it was appropriate. i heard there were some of those scenes that fade out, or are only mentioned, and i've been seen mixed age ratings. Any help/more info on the book would be much appreciated.

message 15: by Chloe (new)

Chloe Knauf Hey, does anyone know of any books similar to the Caraval series or the Once Upon a Broken Heart series by Stephanie Garber?

message 16: by Mountain Girl (new)

Mountain Girl oh to the girl who recommended Lunar Chronicles to, fairest has some stuff in it. I skipped that book because of that you can skip it if you want to. it is not important to the series.;)

message 17: by Naomi (new)

Naomi Messer Hi! Has anyone read the Caraval or Once Upon a Broken Heart series by Stephanie Garber and know if they’re clean books?

message 18: by Chloe (new)

Chloe Knauf The Caraval series is clean... The Once Upon a Broken series isn't smutty, but there was some content that did make me uncomfortable... it's hard to explain without giving away spoilers. I really loved the Once Upon a Broken Heart series a ton, minus the content I mentioned before. The Caraval series was good, the books just took awhile to get into.

message 22: by Mountain Girl (new)

Mountain Girl So my bestie started to read it and stopped. She was the one who told me-let me ask her- cause I forgot, hehehe ;) She's part of this group maybe, ill tell her about the conversation.

message 23: by Ramona (new)

Ramona O'Cahane I write clean YA romance. I have a full series out and two series in process (book 1 in each is already out). Should show on my profile.

message 24: by Janessa (new)

Janessa Hey I’m new here but I wanted to add my thoughts…I just finished Lakeshire Park and Miss Newburys List by Megan Walker. I loved them they are very clean. They aren’t ya but I would definitely say a younger person could read them. I’m 16. Also Kasie West and highly recommend Robin Jones Gunn! I love John Flanagan also tho they aren’t really romance.

message 25: by Mountain Girl (new)

Mountain Girl To Fiona
It just has like mature content that refers to things. Like I said you can just skip it.

message 26: by Eilley (new)

Eilley Rose ok thanks

Mountain Girl Chloe wrote: "Hey! I'm new to this group, but I've been having trouble finding clean YA and was hoping some of guys could help"

Hey Girl!!! I recommend Kisses and Croissants, it's clean, the storyline is really good and the romance is so sweet and wholesome. The story is so good and I find our FL Mia so relatable! And Louis, omgoodness who wouldn't want to ride on the back of a Vespa through the streets of Paris with a French boy, who by the way sounds very handsome *wink wink* I also recommend the Apothecary series by Maile Meloy It is fantastic, it's filled with mystery, plot twists, and adventure, and don't even get me started on the characters! Especially our ML, Benjamin Burrows😉

message 33: by Landon Lea (new)

Landon Lea -the selection by kiera cass
-there you'll find me by jenny b jones

message 34: by Morgan (new)

Morgan Cappetta Naomi wrote: "Hi! Has anyone read the Caraval or Once Upon a Broken Heart series by Stephanie Garber and know if they’re clean books?"

I’ve read Once Upon a Broken Heart series and that one is clean. I haven’t read Caraval however I have heard it’s clean( I would investigate it more before reading it, though)

message 35: by Morgan (new)

Morgan Cappetta I recommend Picking daises on sunday(it’s not ya, but there in college) however it’s fully clean. I love anything by Kasie west, Lynn Painter(here is mild swearing in her books however), and Kiera Cass. They’re all clean authors I’d say.
