I read this years ago when it first came out (before genealogy mysteries were a sub genre in their own right) along with the second book, BLOOD-LINE, which I enjoyed even more. Sadly, Fiona Mountain never wrote any more Natasha Blake novels, which is a real shame, as I loved the setting - Snowshill in the Cotswolds - and that her research into family history to solve the mystery was in real time.
