Mariana I have read The Selection twice and really enjoyed them all, but I know not everyone does. They are clean YA.

I recommend Always to Remember by Lorraine Heath if you like HR. It is enemies to lovers and has a little spice.

Christine Mathieu I'm getting tired of too many novels about strong female leads and quirky characters. Would love to read a novel about normal people for a change.

message 9: by Gabby (new)

Gabby Plazas @Christine I like seeing female leads i relate to and i’ve never been the traditional type so i don’t tend to read books with traditional leads. There’s nothing wrong with liking traditional female leads but it’s just not my favorite.

message 10: by Jack (new)

Jack Strunk I'm usually a certified Ali Hazelwood hater but her new book "Bride" was pretty good. though the last couple "spicy" scenes were a little weird imo so I just sorta skimmed over them.

the Brown sister's trilogy is pretty good. has multiple parts of spice throughout the books. Chloe's is my fav

I don't mind strong females, I'm one myself. But I miss the contemporary novels from the last century which had such unique plots and were so much more interesting than most of the ones I see today on TV or read in new novels.

You might like Dye. Run. Don't Die. Lots of action, romance, and a bit of spice!

GnomeK You could try 1984, I thought the romance in it was quite good as a sub plot.

Brian Try a classic...more romance, less smut.

Jane Eyre, Charlotte Bronte
The Portrait of a Lady, Henry James
Wuthering Heights, Emily Bronte
Rebecca, Daphne du Maurier
Great Expectations, Charlies Dickens
Pride and Prejudice, Jane Austen
Anna Karenina, Leo Tolstoy
Voyageurs, Margaret Elphinstone (not a classic, yet)
The Count of Monte Cristo, Alexandre Dumas
The Last of the Mohicans, James Fenmore Cooper

This should keep you busy for a few days, weeks...maybe months.
