Thank you so much for the kind review, Lorie! :) Chef and I are still in touch and he is working on his dream of raising his own soccer team: he and his wife just had their second baby in Hawaii where they live. We're still in touch, but he's had a tough year as his home, entire town, and all his work supplies were burned in a huge wildfire in 2023. They are still working on recovering from that and returning to normalcy. He's promised to join me on another long trail in the future!
