This isn't your best review because you have a mistake! You said voice of the book book...... you want to read about AI you should pick up Super intelligence by Nick Bostrom
Well none of us are perfect! Eh, I live and breathe AI so I need a break but will put it on my to-read list. I think most books about AI are really boring. But you could recommend me a philosophy book about Immanual Kant.
Try New Dark Age by James Bridle. It is quite a philosophy book. I didn’t read it yet but someone recommended it me.
There are really much better books to read on this. It's a pity this one comes out later, having the benefit of everything else written before it PLUS the new AI-generated tech that came out in the meantime, yet does so poorly...
It's particularly insulting to any and all others who consider the topic seriously and have worked on it, to find their work brushed aside on bookshelves to the benefit of this one, simply due to the big names on the cover. Tells a lot about our society ...
Oh man, this captures my sentiment quite well. What a bore. I encourage you to try out Life 3.0 by Max Tegmark, a really great book about AI.
Did not make it far before baling on this one. Got to agree with Leah. Not sure why Heinz the K is so prominent on the dust jacket. Not much specific about AI really.
