Thanks so much for your review. The ostrich is my favorite character as well. Check out Job 39:13-18 to see how the Bible describes ostriches. The whole idea that they are given no share in understanding (they are not bright birds) was what prompted me to make the ostrich in my story lack wisdom. Also, the Arabian Ostrich roamed freely in the Judean wilderness up to about a few hundred years ago.
