If you add new books to GR yourself from your author dashboard as soon as you have the ASIN, you can prevent the bots from auto-importing to the wrong profile. (But this is also an easy fix for librarians—it happens a lot!)

It's showing under my books but still not under my author profile even through it's on my profile...? It won't let me edit it or anything because of it. Is this going to fix itself or is this part of the glitch?

Your profile page only shows your ten most popular books. This makes 11, so you can see it on your book page: https://www.goodreads.com/author/list...

It must have not been finished updating because it wasn't allowing me to edit book details because despite it being on my profile, it was still listed under the other author when you clicked on "author"

Yes, book pages tend to update more slowly than author pages. Usually it's just a few minutes, but sometimes it can take up to a couple of days.
