edits/deletes to Vella book data > Likes and Comments

As an author, I originally added two Kindle Vella editions to my published works. However, I just made a major change in the Vella platform and need it to reflect on Goodreads. I unpublished one of the Vellas and combined it with the other one (the unpublished one was majorly rewritten, so it was necessary). Goodreads will not let me delete the unpublished Vella or edit it. The ASIN associated with the unpublished Vella is no longer valid. The ASIN of the published (combined) Vella is unchanged, but the title changed to reflect that it contains the series rather than just the first book.

In attempting to find a way to reflect this, I created a new edition of the valid Vella (with its new cover image and title), since I couldn't edit the existing one. So now I have two editions of the same thing, which is fine if it were a book, but with Vellas, the old edition no longer exists, so I feel this may be confusing.

Further, I'd like the new Vella entry to be separated from its currently combined status with the first book in the series. It does include the first book in the series, so it's not entirely inaccurate, but it also includes the second book and will include the third book once it's finished, so I feel it might be better separated rather than combined.

The book editions (paperback and ebook) are not affected by anything I tried to do.

So, as you can see, it's a bit jumbled and I don't have access to make changes to make it less confusing.

What I'd like to see is:
--the unpublished Vella deleted, or somehow marked as such if it can't be deleted entirely. The link to this one is: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...
--the Vella that encompasses the whole series separated so it shows as its own entity rather than having to click on the first book to see it. The link with the correct image and title is: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
--the Vella that was originally just book 1 (but was renamed in an attempt to be correct) can be combined with the series Vella if necessary, as an "older edition." We don't remove editions which are out of print and this includes Vella editions.
Also note that none of your requests actually necessitates a superlibrarian. If you have further requests, please post them in the "Book & Author Page Issues" folder.
