Hi Christine. I hope you don't mind me commenting. I disliked CD in the book for a while, too, but then something changed and I liked him again! I think I felt sorry for him. The way he was when he remembered his childhood, and the kind of stupid way his obsession turned him into a stalker when he could have just put in a bit of effort at home. I actually loved the book in the end! Funny how differently we can relate to books, isn't it?
