I love John Grisham, A Time to Kill it’s such a good book and the other 2 books in the series are really great too

As we're in the Australian group I always recommend to anyone and love the Les Norton books by Robert G. Barrett, they just encapsulate the Aussie experience so well. You can really visualise yourself there along for the wild adventures with Les.
