What are your Dark Romance recommendations? > Likes and Comments

I am still quite new to this genre and would love to know what everyone recommends so I can add it to my TBR!

Just started credence! Needed a little break from fantasy so gonna read this in between the current series I’m reading.

my favorite series of all time is the Dark Verse series by RuNyx💜🛐

The dark verse series by Runyx is a great way to step into the dark romance genre in my opinion, all the characters are so lovable but be sure to check the trigger warnings before each book because it does deal with very strong topics.

You could also try the Camorra chronicles by Cora Reilly, I LOVE the Falcone family with all my heart. So if you’re looking for a cute family and couples with Darker themes then this is deffo the way to go.

Lastly you could try the sinners series by Michelle heard. She writes mostly mafia books and her books are very short and fast paced that you could probably read in one-two sittings. Her plot is always so catchy and characters are *chefs kiss*🤌

If you haven’t read many dark romances before, I wouldn’t suggest you plunge right to the deep end and start with books like haunting Adeline and the devils night series like most would do. But again it’s all up to you. I hope the recs help🫶

Does the short story Carmilla count by Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu? That's pretty dark and erotic, especially considering the time it was written. Basically started the whole lesbian vampire thing.

I am currently read That Sik Luv and let me tell you so far it’s amazing!

I 100% recommend reading The Hunter brothers series by T.L. Smith! I absolutely fell in love with each and every part of it.

After that I recommend reading the Chain series by the same author!! I promise you that you simply would not want to put down those!!!

I'm almost finishing the secod book of Brutes of Bristlebrook by Rebecca Quinn and i'm in love with many characters, and the spice... well just loving it so far 🖤
