I'm sure I will!
I read the prologue and found Dumbledor quite funny...

Ruzina Althea wrote: "Eternal Demolition?"

Yes. Eternal destruction. This is the destiny of those who haven't either read or watched the HP series. You made a lucky escape.

Ruzina Good on you my friend :)

L Once you begin to read the first page of 'Harry Potter and the Philosiphers stone' you will find yourself slowly sliping away from reality, until you are completely oblivious to the world that surrounds you. With each book comes hightened anticipation and quicker, faster reading...it is a truly amazing series that i have re-read so many times over (my books are now falling apart!)

I've read the prologue and I find you sooooooo right: )

message 21: by Kalare (new)

Kalare Raine How to Train Your Dragons is a very original movie :) and it has dragons so it makes all the more amazing. For those who have not yet seen it, the dragons might put you off at first, (for they look a bit different than traditional dragons) but they are very cute when you get used to them.

Harry Potter is a wonderful series. Personally, the books are way better than the films, but the movies have their own special taste. The fourth was my favorite because of the dragons. hehe. The author did a wonderful job of describing them.

message 22: by L (new)

L Hi Kalare! Yes, i do agree that the Harry Potter books are better than the films, but i do LOVE the films & 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire'.

Would you take on the Hungarian Horntail??!!

Hello there ^_^ Would I take on the Hungarian Horntail? No way! I'm not that brave, I would hide and take lots of pictures though.

What about you?

message 24: by L (new)

message 25: by Cole (new)

Cole Hahaha! Would I fight a Horntail? I would have to agree with Kalare. I got nothing against this benevolent creature.
I havent read Harry Potter yet but I did see the movies (which I know is bad!).
Shrek is hilarious, if you haven't seen it you must. However, I didn't like the sequels all that much.
How To Train Your Dragon is one my favorites of all time! They are so adorable and I love the connection between Hiccup and Toothless. It made me want to find one of my own!

message 26: by L (new)

L Of course the purple Dragon in Shrek!!

It loved that Donkey! Yes, Dragons are great and add that extra bit of drama to a film, although it is nice at times to break away from the steriotypical Dragon and have something different from the norm with something more placid. x

message 27: by Cole (new)

Cole Yes, I often get tired of the version the fire breathing brute (villainous). I like the ones that are more complex then "I hate you, die."

message 28: by Cole (new)

Cole Number 2 is coming out 2014!

message 29: by A.D. (new)

A.D. Trosper I love How to Train Your Dragon! I also love The Dragon Riders of Berk that comes on one of the cartoon channels. I have a four year old who loves dragons too, so it gives me the perfect excuse to watch it. :)

And yes, the dragon from Shrek deserves to be mentioned, along with her fire breathing donkans :)

I have seen that show a couple of times. My little brother is six, therefore also giving me a good excuse to watch!

A.D. Trosper :)I figure when my youngest grows up, I will just have to be the crazy lady that watches certain cartoons.

Hahaha, I will be that grandpa watching cartoons instead of sports!

message 33: by Fiona (new)

Fiona This movie series is one of my absolute favorites. I remember originally not being too interested in it because I thought the dragons looked weird. If I could go back in time, I would slap my past self for thinking such a thing. Recently, I've found a crochet pattern for toothless. I can't begin to explain how excited I am to start working on it.

message 34: by A.M. (new)

A.M. Kuska Just saw this movie and loved it. :)

message 36: by L'Poni (new)

L'Poni would anyone like to come to a discord server I made about talking about dragons and my dragon characters? I miss everyone here, but I don’t want to use goodreads anymore.
