Evan *looks at calendar* seems legit.

T. Boyle April Fool's Day. I wield the sword of satire. Trump is a cancer on humanity, just like his hero, Putin, and the rest of their ilk. I mean, really, hawking bibles during Easter week and comparing himself to Jesus?

Terry Gardner A fool and his money are soon parted.

T. Boyle We can only hope so. Actually, I don't care how much money he has or doesn't have, if only the threat he poses to America--and the world and every creature in it--could be eliminated. Until that happens, I am deeply unsettled.

Terry Gardner He just keeps getting saved at the last minute. Always gets away unscathed. Do you read The Daily Kos? There was an article about his new stock offering today. I never thought one person could wield so much power. Not even a president. What happened to checks and balances? Three separate branches of government? Scary times for sure.

T. Boyle We shall prevail.

Thomas Shaw We laugh & dismiss at our own peril...

T. Boyle That's for sure. I look forward to the day when he is no longer in the picture and we can go back to discussing nature, music and literature.

Gee We’ve become so addicted to his nonsense. Will there be a post tRump syndrome, depression. I CANNOT WAIT. But, by then, (soon) we will have bigger fish to fry with whatever flavor of environmental shet storm comes our way

T. Boyle I love your optimism.

Thomas Shaw Nah, rant all you want. Silence can be empowering.

T. Boyle Sorry, Carol. A forum like this should be open to diverse points of view. Especially on April 1, when we can all enjoy a good joke. If you read my books, you know what I stand for: protecting the environment and our democracy, women's rights and education. And peace. And love.
