LOL. I literally opened up an incognito search because how on Earth could I explain to anyone why I was googling "does eating human flesh make it so you recognize other people who've eaten human flesh?" OMG at the time I typed it out I realized how freaking ridiculous that sounded!?!?! As an author myself, I research the tiniest details to death because I would hate for a reader to be pulled out of the story asking strange questions. Facepalm. Also, why should they avoid Fourth Street? How did they know Wes had been busy? Very confusing and strange tangent for the story to go on.
LoveVickyHolt that’s hilarious! 😂 I wondered the same about Wes though. What was the point of his character? And the random, and pretty vague, hints at the end that he was actually a cannibalistic serial killer who’d run amok on Fourth Street?! It feels like the author went over her word count, and the bit where she explains Wes was cut out! 😆
