Beve So from what I remember I read this in 2016-2019. Feel like this might be a series with each book focusing on a different girl, possibly.
YA/middle school book/s is about this group of girls who attend middle/high school in New York City. From the three girls I remember the details (SPOILERS AHEAD) are:

Girl #1: Father is a really rich businessman(?) and she comes home one day to him hosting another party meeting in their house. I think she rebels or refuses to do something that her father wanted her to do so she gets flown to California/west coast to go to military school. A lawyer and her mom are there (parents might be divorced though not sure) and later the girl convinces her dad to fly her back to NYC.
Girl #2: Meets this boy who played as a DJ at a place and then they become friends and he has a underground or behind a famous building type of band practice room. I think they were interested in music so there were locations like opera houses/vinyl shops? as well. From what I remember, he meets her parents as well but no drama happens.
Girl #3: She wants to go on a ski trip with some people, person organizing is her love interest at the time and there's one specific scene of her thinking if she should go or not and they're at a candy store discussing it.
At the end of the entire book series I think, they all go to this club Girl #2's friend DJ's for with all of the families and it's a party(?)
Read as a physical copy.
Time period book is set in: relatively modern

Jessica Webb "Pretty Little Liars" by Sara Shepard has some similarities to the description you provided, but it's not an exact match. This book was published in 2006 but I don't believe it got popular until years afterwards, so it may match the time frame you read it.
