Andrea Cox Hello, CFD Family.

This thread is where announcements and updates will be posted throughout the year.

If you have any suggestions, concerns, or questions, they may be posted here as well.

We're looking forward to another blessed year with you, dear friends. Happy reading!

message 2: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox Friends, I'm getting started on my updates at some point tomorrow. This includes some year-long things like Prayers & Praise and Just Talk as well as quarterly, six-month, and 18-month challenges. I'm trying to get them all posted by the beginning of the year, but I have an edit job starting in two days, so if I run a bit behind schedule, please forgive me as I'm trying to balance work and volunteering here at CFD to kick off a new and very busy year.

message 12: by Beth (new)

Beth I signed up for nine (maybe ten), and four of the others.
Since almost everything I read is mystery/suspense I will probably not do that one, unless I just do cozy mystery.

message 18: by Debbie (new)

Debbie My 2024 book challenge group is starting and prompt #1 is “Closed-room mystery”. Suggestions include a lot of Agatha Christie. Are there any CF mysteries that come to mind?

Faith Marshall Debbie wrote: "My 2024 book challenge group is starting and prompt #1 is “Closed-room mystery”. Suggestions include a lot of Agatha Christie. Are there any CF mysteries that come to mind?"

Her books are more romance than mystery, but Roseanna M. White's novels always have crime and suspense in them. There is also the True Colors series about weird stories of real crimes that happened over the year. They have some romance, but the crimes are the main plots. I highly recommend The Gray Chamber by Grace Hitchcock!

The Lost Melody by Joanna Davidson Politano felt locked-room to me. Definitely mysterious.
