My dear friend from across the pond, thank you so much for reading and hearing what I tried to convey. I am trying to work my way through it all, without giving up. I am nothing if not resilient and to some degree stubborn, and angry at the fates for testing me in this way. But I don't give up easily, and still search for those lovely things, those miraculous meanderings, that make this world worthy of wonder.

This really moved me. You express so clearly the painful journey you are on, step by painful step. The good days that are not so good, just not as bad as yesterday, and maybe worse tomorrow, when you feel that tap again.
I know there are no words of comfort I can offer, because it's your journey, and it will take as long as it takes. But I'm sending love and virtual hugs, and hope that tomorrow will be a little better.
