Audrey Lewis Good Evening Alejandra

My first magical realism novel The Tapestry is being launched June 21. I'd be honored if you would be interested in reading and reviewing it.

Summary: The Tapestry is a magical realism fiction book that touches on universal themes of love, pain, healing, and the joys of motherhood. Following the story of Maia, a young virgin who miraculously gives birth to a blind, albino hermaphrodite, this powerful tale embodies dashes of magic and fantasy as the emotions pour out of each page. When Maia runs away from her life and seeks refuge in the woods, a pack of coyotes and unseen helpers lead her to an abandoned cottage, giving her and her baby a new life. She names her child Justice, and she raises him as a boy so that he can have a better chance in the harsh, male-dominated world of the early twentieth century.
But neither of them could have foreseen what fate had in store for them. When they’re forced to abandon their cottage and struggle to carve out a life for themselves in the city, Maia finds solace in Justice’s incredible gift – a supernatural ability to weave colorful tapestries that can predict the future. Armed with this gift and deeply bonded with the coyotes that saved them so long ago, Justice discovers his true identity as a girl – and she embarks on a journey to share her gift with the world. Perfect for readers who love emotional, thought-provoking contemporary fiction, The Tapestry is a unique and memorable story that echoes the full range of the human experience.

If you are interested I'd be happy to send you an epub, mobi or pdf

Thank you so much for you consideration,
Audrey

Paityn Parque Hello Alejandra!

I recently just turned 16 and have self-published the sequel to my debut series, Engine's Game. I would gladly provide the first installment if you're interested in reviewing the second!

Here is the blurb for my first book, Madness

Death is not an escape.

One night Ezra Adkins is brutally murdered in her own home. As she was dying, she expects to wake up in the afterworld.

She was wrong.

She loses consciousness and awakens into a horrific game of kill or be killed. Players can be killed an infinite number of times, but the only permanent way out of the game is their actual death by suicide.

Players in the game ruthlessly hunt each other for points, while others kill for fun. Most players have given up on finding an escape from the game and spiral into insanity, killing without reason.

It’s mayhem.

Ezra soon learns who to trust and who to hunt down. But as she falls deeper into the game, she starts to lose herself as the bodies pile up. The line blurs between what she’s always known to be right and wrong.

Metal will clash. Blood will spill. Minds will break. And before it’s too late, Ezra must find an escape from the game before she becomes the real enemy.

Thank you so much!

Paityn

Gill Fernandez https://booksprout.co/reviewer/review...

Nine years on from playing his part in Millie & George, Owen Kingsley seems to have everything going for him. He's a respected leading TV journalist, at the top of his career, earning enough to afford a mortgage on an elegant Hampstead home and able to buy the very best in everything, from designer shoes to Savile Row tailoring. And yet happiness evades him.
Still haunted by his troubled childhood, unable to break through his dread of falling in love, Owen yearns for the family life his best friend George enjoys. But Owen believes love inevitably leads to sorrow and he is destined to be alone. His coping strategy is to escape reality through books, alcohol, multiple meaningless short affairs and overwork. Fame, money and women are all his. For the moment.

Love Is ~ Two Bodies One Soul is a contemporary romance and family saga. It is mainly set in England and is the sequel to Millie & George (released in November 2021). They are both part of the six degrees of separation series.

Here are a few lines from the opening prologue in which Owen is on his way to end a relationship with his latest girlfriend, Margaret. What she tells him will change Owen's life.

London ~ March 2010
"Be careful what you wish for, lest it come true!"

The receptionist looked up at Owen, smart in his immaculate charcoal grey suit and pale blue pure linen shirt.
'Good evening, Mr Kingsley,' She smiled at him, her expression worldly, even a little speculative, as she added, 'Ms Morris is in her office waiting for you. Go on up.'
'Thanks, Tracy.'
Owen diverted to the lift - the red leather soles of his Louboutin Oxfords clacking on the marble floor as he wondered (not for the first time) how much the staff at Beka Morris Associates knew about his relationship with Margaret.
Inside the empty lift, he shifted restlessly from one foot to the other and waited for the doors to close. He raised and rotated one shoulder, then the other, trying to ease the tension in his neck, thinking of the decision he'd made earlier in the day. The lift doors slid shut. Too late to turn back, he thought ... and anyway; it was the right decision.

Would you be interested in reviewing it? If yes, a copy is available on Booksprout. Link at top. Love Is in the pre-order phase at the moment and is due for publication on the 21st of May.
Thanks in advance.

message 40: by Zach (new)

Zach Larson Hello Alehandra,
I have a new fantasy novel that explores how personality and character is formed. If you are interested, here is the description:

Every avatar has a Lifebook.

They are the home of the soul, the story of a life, the birthplace of personality, and where bonds are signed. Lifebooks have existed as a sacred, interconnected part of avatar life since the beginning. Avatar society has never known another way, but society is crumbling. The government wants control of the Lifebonds, but so do the velo bosses. The fight for control will leave every soul on Pocalypse scarred.

As fewer and fewer avatars manage to keep their Lifebook unbonded and remain free, the sanctity of the Lifebook itself will change forever. Factions collide. Bonds are broken. Memories are stolen. Identities are lost.

But, avatar kind can always depend on one truth: Every avatar has a Lifebook…

Every avatar except one.

The cover is on the main page of my website, https://livingwordspress.weebly.com/.
I can send you a pdf or epub copy if you are interested.
Thanks

message 42: by Robin (new)

Robin Clement Hi, I'm Robin. I have a paranormal romantic fantasy that's on Kindle Unlimited.

Blurb: The Gamma's Secret Witch is a gripping adventure of love, revenge and a magic beyond that of just falling in love...

At the summit of Mount Evans, in the depths of the Colorado Rockies. The Half Moon coven had been peacefully residing under the protection of the Dark Woods wolf pack. This all changed when Willa Brynn decided to turn against her family and coven’s values in pursuit of dark magic, destroying the fragile peace between the two factions.

With the protectors becoming the hunters, the heiress to the coven, the soon-to-be High Priestess of the Half Moon coven Tabitha Brynn, entered wolf guarded territory to save a friend. Unbeknown to Tabitha, she was being watched by Asher Blaine, Gamma of the Dark Woods pack. A hunter ready to bring any witch back to his Alpha. That was until he began to feel the pull, the instant connection, at that moment he knew his life would never be the same again. And all because of a witch.

Could Asher stay loyal to his pack and alpha? Or did being mated to a witch mean he’d be forced to choose between the life he’s known and the life he has been searching for?

The Gamma's Secret Witch is a thrilling and emotive novel about love and loyalty and how far you're willing to go to keep those closest to you. If you like twists, turns, magic and intrigue. Then you'll love Robin Clement's gripping novel.

Look forward to hearing from you.

E.L. Parfitt Hi Alejandra,

Thank you for reaching out to authors. I really appreciate it. Here's some information about my book, please let me know if you would like a review copy. Though saying that it's free if you are on Kindle Readers ;-)

‘Where have you been?’ Hector asked. He unfisted a crumpled sheet of test results.
Heather said, ‘You’re all bones.’
‘Fran, threw me out.’
‘And?’ she asked.

Two women. Multiple secrets. The question is: how to forgive your best friend with a heart full of thistles?

Read with a friend! A Friendship of Thistles is THE book to read with your closest friend, or group of friends. With great discussion points for a book group. With that said, it’s also for you if you’ve never had a friend nor sustained a thirty-year friendship, or fallen out with a friend and are wondering how to repair the damage done.

The story of Heather and Fran brings Edinburgh alive, during lockdown from 2019 to 2020. From a working-class perspective, Parfitt has created a memorable in-depth look at friendship and community. A Friendship of Thistles is also the story of a nation divided. Through the lives of Fran and Heather, Parfitt gives her readers the story of a country and its people undergoing stupendous change to remind us of the importance of community.

Recommendation:

‘When Hector talks about politics, or when you talk about Covid-19: it is part of people’s lives, and the sense of community grows gradually. We feel that the virus impacts their lives, and we are emotionally concerned and connected with them. Stocking food and cans, the pressure to obtain a grant from the government, the craving for a bit of warmth, it’s very real.’
—Jeanne ML

G.S. Boarman Alejandra -
I published this past April the opening trilogy for a projected 12-book series, covering the decade 1870-1880. I would be grateful for you to review the third book, since it is the latest book, but it I would be interested to hear your thoughts about the medical elements in the first two books (since you are a medical student). I took great pains to research the level of medical knowledge at that time, especially regarding the then-new drug chloral hydrate (most famously used by Mary Todd Lincoln) and the approach to what today is called CPR. I feel like the third book can stand on its own, but readers could turn to the first two books for back story, character development, etc.
To judge if you would be interested, please visit my author website at gsboarman.com. There you will find all kinds of info on the books, including the first chapter of each book, as well as the book covers and a 1870/2022 calendar that tracks each day of the first two books through the month of April, which is exactly the same in 2022 as it was in 1870, the year of the books. Book III occurs in June 1870, which mimics the month of June 2022 (starts on the same day of the year).
I would be more than happy to send you a copy of any or all three books.
Many thanks for your offer to help authors establish reviews, especially when medical school must already claim so much of your time.
GS Boarman
