Being an authorized GR author and member of the GR Author Program, you can add your new book following these steps:

2. Click on Add a book. The book creation page displays with your correct author name pre-filled.
3. Fill in your book's remaining details. For tips, see our Librarian Manual.

I have tried that but since the book already exists in the database, it won't let me do anything. I can't "create" another one since one already exists. But there isn't an option for me to claim it.

Ah, in that case your question is not: please add this new book, but please move the book already existing on Goodreads to my profile. You can ask that question in the folder "Book & Author Page Issues", this folder is for adding new books not yet on Goodreads. I'm on my mobile now and on holiday, so I cannot do it.

The Kindle and paperback editions appear to have already been auto-created by the amazon_catalog bot on June 11th, but were wrongly attributed to the default Susan^Montgomery instead of to your profile, the Susan^^Montgomery with two spaces.

I have now moved these to your profile, but your author page may take some time to update.

For future releases it's best to add the new book to your profile as soon as the ASIN or ISBN has been confirmed to you, in order to beat the amazon import bots. Otherwise your book will automatically be attributed to the default one-space profile and you will again have to ask a librarian to move it to your profile.
