I appreciate your review! There's a fine line between authentically depicting complicated sailing techniques of the time, and making non-sailors glaze over with the jargon. Hopefully I trod that line and wrote a universal stiry with a maritime setting, on the shoulders of giants like Melville and O'Brian.
