I know it shouldn't bother me as much as it does, but it does.
If people really feel the need for non-specific, meaningless emphasis, I suggest they just go with "motherfucking." That's all they really mean when they use the word "literally." It means nothing at all, but they want to add "emphasis." That's what profanity is for. :)
