Do mafia books that aren’t pure smut exist? > Likes and Comments

I’m just curious.. are mafia books that aren’t fully smut a thing? I’ve been thinking about exploring the mafia trope, but I’m afraid that all mafia related books are dark romance and smut. I’m ok with a good amount of spice, but pure smut books are not really my thing! If non-smut mafia books do not exist, do you have any other similar/alternative romance trope recommendations that I should give a try?

The Syndicate series by R.G Angel (there is smut, but it happens way into the books and not dominant)
Her Cosa Nostra series is also very good

Kiana Hettinger writes very good Mafia romances focuses on the story more than the smut

I’m not exactly sure what you’re thinking of when you say no smut mafia books, but I do have a recommendation that loops in with Mafia topics etc. It is in fact a YA and idk if that appeals to you, but anyway, it’s called Five Survive. It does mention the mafia, and kind of connects with mafia stuff but it’s not completely based off of that:) it’s called Five Survive by Holly Jackson. It was a 5 star read for me! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Don Winslow novels. The power of the dog, the cartel, city of fire, city of dreams, the winter of Frankie machine are all great mob/cartel books. I fell in love with his novels this year!

I liked A Cruel arrangement by Tijan. Nice story with enough sexy chapters

Mafia books that aren't just smut really do exist cause I am the type to read them.
I think (believe) that there are 2 types of mafia books.

-Light mafia (with less smut and no to less tags such as stalking and gore and all that stuff)

-Dark mafia (with heavy smut and many other tags)

My favorite light mafia books are:
- Perfectly Imperfect series.
- Sinners Anonymous series
- Kids of the district series.

It has mainly all 5 star ratings on goodreads, amazon and instagram and only 3 spice rating as it is more a good storyline and plot then smut! :)

i know i keep recommending it, but the darkverse series by runyx!!! the overarching plot of all 6 books is just 👩🏻‍🍳💋 and the spice is also very good!
